The Vision of Black Renaissance |
The Black Renaissance is a vision of spiritual revival in black America in one lifetime. It is a vision based upon three concepts: - No nation can be destroyed until its pastors are first nullified.
- No persons decisions about your life are more important than your own decisions about your life.
- God delights in reversing unequal power relationships on behalf of those who have His favor.
The vision is made operational through three means: - Renaissance Broadcast Network is the means by which we communicate the Word of God "frequently, accurately and systematically" to Northeast Ohio and beyond. Through this network we also communicate our vision to Pastors who are looking for fellowship with a ministry which promotes conservative biblical scholarship, evangelism and discipleship in the black community. Member churches also use this network to communicate their vision and message.
- Renaissance Leadership Institute is our bible school where we train men to proclaim the Word of God as Pastors and Teachers and where we train both men and women for productive ministry in their local church in a variety of lay capacities.
- Renaissance Association of Churches is our association of churches that are committed to the Revival and Renaissance of black America through a return to the accurate teaching of the Word and the determination to live by that same Word (Ezra 7:10). The Association provides a means for pastoral development, fellowship and ministry resources available in the Renaissance Organization. For example, members of RAC churches receive discounts to the Leadership Institute and promotion on the growing Renaissance Broadcast Network. Please follow this link to our doctrinal statement.
The Renaissance will result first in spiritual revival, beginning in black pulpits, second in the development of sound bible teaching and discipleship in churches, third in the strengthening of marriage and family and finally in cultural rebirth in the areas of education, entrepreneurship, art and government. |
