Institute Instructors
Rev. Lamont Graves
Lamont Graves is Dean of the Renaissance Leadership Institute. He is a member of and instructor at Hudson Community Chapel. He was ordained as a pastor in 1994, having served as a teacher, trustee and dean of a bible institute at his former church for 19 years. He has served on two boards of bible institutes in the past.
He is a 1971 graduate of the University of Akron, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in the fields of Sociology and Secondary School Education. His majors were English and History prior to switching to Statistical Research.
Vocationally he has worked for over 35 years in the manufacturing sector of business. He currently is vice-president of a company that services the rubber and automotive industry. His gifts of management and administration have allowed him to lead and direct small and large groups in both the secular and religious arenas.
Lamont and his wife, Ava, have been married for 28+ years and have two children and three grandchildren.
Pastor Rich Walker
Pastor Walker is the founder of Black Renaissance Ministries and teaches Leadership, a biblical approach to developing effective Leaders, Black Nations in Scripture and Distinctives of the Black Renaissance Movement, which is a course covering topics like; The Spiritual City, The Three Nation-building Principles and the Five Distinctives of the Renaissance Movement. You can listen to Rich on 1220 WHKW am at 2:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at 7:30pm on Wednesday evenings, or any time on this website.
Dr. Martin Freeman
Dr. Freeman teaches courses in Homiletics (Preaching), Hermeneutics and Apologetics. Dr. Freeman has earned the Doctorate of Theology.
Pastor Henry Payden Jr.
Pastor Payden is Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Malvern Ohio. He teaches Ministry Certification, a two semester course designed to prepare laypersons for effective leadership in the local church.
Pastor David Kinlow
Pastor Kinlow is Senior Pastor of Word of God Community Church in Canton Ohio.He has completed his Masters Degree in biblical Studies. Pastor Kinlow teaches Systematic Theology, Ministry Certification and New Testament.
Pastor Barton Dorsey
Pastor Dorsey is Senior Pastor of Maranatha Church in Cleveland Ohio. He teaches the Book of Romans and New Testament Survey.
Pastor Henry Wallace
Pastor Wallace is Senior Pastor at Grace Fundamental Baptist Church in Cleveland Ohio. He is teaching Systematic Theology on the Cleveland Heights campus.
